RRR actor Ram Charan in a recent interview with film critic David Poland was asked whether he is going to think about taking a break after RRR. To which he said that he is not thinking about taking a break now. He has been working without taking a break now. The RRR actor also said that working with Rajamouli requires tremendous hardwork. Rajamouli is the director of Ram Charan’s recent film RRR.
RRR recently won the Golden Globes award for its song Naatu Naatu. Speaking about it, Ram Charan says he is happy to be associated with it. Ram Charan is praising Rajamouli and saying that Rajamouli is always scaling up and keeps coming up with projects that are bigger and bigger. He tells the film critic David Poland that he is astonished by the way how Rajamouli keeps coming up with projects that have larger than life concepts and are celebratory kind of films. He says to know that is very complicating to understand.
Ram Charan says that the directors vision is alwasys different and he gets to know the final output of the directors only in the theatres, front of the audience. He also revealed that Rajamouli never showcases the film to them before the release. He says he watched RRR for the first time in the theatres with the director after its release, front of the audience. He is enthused by the way audiences react to films in the theatres and that sight gives him an understanding what people appreciate about the film.
Ram Charan says he always follows the director while acting on screen. For RRR, he says, working with Rajamouli requires tremendous effort. ‘Rajamouli makes sure that the actors internatlise the character’. He says ‘Rajamouli’s writing is too deep. For RRR and others films, he makes us feel the character from within’. Ram Charan says that his acting is not expressing it loud but expressing what he is feeling from within because he has already gone into the skin of the character. Ram Charan says it is quite challenging and interesting at the same time.
Ram Charan says he always wanted to become an actor but he says that it was his father who always told him to give education a priority. Ram Charan says he developed a liking for mechanical engineering.But his grades did not support it that it why the dean of hs college recommended his father to allow him to pursue his acting career. That is when Ram Charan entered into acting schools and later into films.
Ram Charan’s 2023, he has 2 projects in hand. For 2024, he has signed three films, he has said.
