Sara Ali Khan at a recent event was asked about her views, what was her thought on playing Sharmila Tagore on screen, if she ever got a chance. Sara Ali Khan said, that Sharmila Tagore (also her granny) is very graceful. She thinks she won’t be able to match her gracefulness if she ever gets a chance.
Sara Ali Khan was also asked whether she discussed about films and work with her granny Sharmila Tagore. To which she said, Shamila Tagore and she speake quite a lot often, but they don’t discuss about films. She said, Sharmila Tagore is very well read person. She is interested in current events and has good amount of general knowledge. She has world views and a different perspective. She is a very classy person and we discuss different topics but we haven’t discussed about cinema yet. But she said that she would surely think about discussing films and work with Sharmila Tagore in the future.
Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Atrangi Re opposite Dhanush in 2021. She will soon be upcoming Laxman Utekar project opposite Vicky Kaushal and also in Gaslight movie along side Vikrant Massey.
Sharmila Tagore is a yesteryear actor known for her films like Kashmir ki Kali. Her chemistry with Rajesh Khanna in films like Aradhana, Safar and Amar Prem were well liked by the audience.
