Filmmaker Vishal Bhardvaj is going to make a series on Agatha Christie’s best selling novel ‘The Sittaford Mystery’. The series is titled Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley. It will stream on SonyLiv.
The story is set in the snow-capped mountains of Himachal Pradesh. The series will show the journey of Charlie Chopra and her search to find out an uncovered mystery.
Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Lara Dutta, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Paoli Dam star in the series.
Vishal Bhardwaj’s home banner, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures and Priti Shahani’s ‘Tusk Tale Films’ along with Agatha CHristie Limited are going to bankroll this project. More details about the project are yet to be revealed.
