The Kerala Story Producer donates Rs 51 Lakh to the construction of Ashram for victims of forced religious conversion

The Kerala Story producer and the team today donated 51 Lakh amount to the Aarsha Vidya Samajam – initiative of the Vijana Bharathi Educational and Charitable Society. This amount is to be used for the construction of an ashram for the victims of religious conversion

The NGO has been working relentlessly and selflessly to rehabilitate daugthers who are converted in the name of love through radicalisation. Around 300 girls are going to benefit through this initiative. This initiative is called ‘Protect the daughters’ initiative.

Few of the girls who were the victims were joined at todays event where their representative and the team of the NGO was donated the amount. They also posed for photo with the makers and the team of The Kerala Story movie.

The Kerala story movie is also a story of those women who were forcefully converted religion and sent to become members of the terrorist group ISIS.

The movie was initially hated by some sections of the audience for his strong and bold approach. Also for the controversy surrounding the figures of women who were victims.

But now the film is running successfully in theatres and is said to have been approaching a record figure collection of 190 crore today, according to the makers.
