Tamil Rockerz is a new web series on Sony Liv. It is about a story of a film that is about to get pirated. Will the makers be able to save the film from piracy? That you will get to know after watching the series. Story is shown in 8 episode format. Each episode duration vary, some 30 min, some 40 and some 50 min each. Story is little slow because the series takes more time for build up. Story is good.
VFX work could have been better. Dubbing of some actors didn’t suit properly. Length of the series was little long. It could have been little short. Little lame jokes also could have been avoided in this series. Cast has done good job. Bad words are only one or two in the series. Intimate scenes are not there. Good film, overall to watch with family.
Climax of the series was good, specially the last episode. Hint of second season also you get to see in the last episode. I really loved watching this series. Tamil Rockerz story showed reality of Indian film industry. How films are pirated? How films are promoted and boycotted? All these things we get to see in this series. We are also shown how many peoples livehihood depends only on earning from film industry. Good unique story overall. I had a great time watching this series. I rate this series 3.5 out of 5 stars.
