Salman Khan, as all you all know has given some of the biggest hits with Sooraj Barjatya, Rajashri Productions like Hum Aapke hain Kain, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain etc. Now the director-producer Sooraj Barjatya wanted to do again another film with Salman Khan. It was titled Prem Ki Shaadi. Salman Khan listened the script.
Salman Khan never says no to Sooraj Barjatya films. But this was a rare occasion where Salman Khan rejected to play lead role in the film. Reason we know is that Salman Khan felt he was too aged to play young groom in this Prem Ki Shaadi film and so he thought it was not a good chance. So he opted out of the film.
Sooraj Barjatya was adamant on making this film happen so he thought of looking some other actor to play lead actor Salman Khan’s role. He approached Shahid Kapoor as they had collaborated with each other for Vivaah film which was also a turning point for Shahid Kapoor’s film, career.
Shahid Kapoor seems to have given a green signal for the Prem Ki Shaadi film and Sooraj Barjatya is happy about it. He seems to make some few changes to the script of the film to make it suitable to Shahid Kapoor’s image and the shoot will begin soon.
Shahid Kapoor has recently given a good hit film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which is currently making a run in the box office.
