Few days ago we came to know that Farhan Akhtar is working on the script for Don 3. Speculations were started that Shah Rukh Khan would take part in the film. As Khan had headlined the previous two installments of the project that starred also actress Priyanka Chopra.
Now a new news that we come to know is that Shah Rukh Khan has decided that he wont be a part of Don 3. This is not official.
Shah Rukh Khan is not keen on getting back to the franchise at the moment because he feels it doesn’t fit the kind of cinema he wants to do at he moment.
The superstar wants to cater to a much wider, more universal section of the audience and he feels that the script of Don 3 is more niche.
As per new report, SRK also felt that the idea of ‘Don 3’ sounds gimmicky at the moment, hence he has decided to take an exit.
SRK is not a part of Don 3 now and hence Farhan Akhtar is now looking for a new star to play the role. There are rumours about different names as a possible replacement. Even the name of Hrithik Roshan is in the list. Official confirmation is awaited.
Shah Rukh Khan has already informed Farhan and Ritesh of Excel Entertainment about his exit from the franchise. Need official clarification soon.
