Shah Rukh Khan at the success event of his film Pathaan adressed the negativity which his film received initially from certain section of the audience. He said in his address that whatever negative roles or characters they play on screen, should be left within the film itself. Outside the film they all are good.
He says that they play negative characters on screen, but in real life they are normal people, good. He also said that they actors do all kinds of roles good ones, bad ones all in the name of entertainment. ‘People shouldn’t take their characters seriously. We play our characters, none of them are meant to hurt any sentiment or anbody. We say certain things in the film. All of that is done in the name of entertainment. Many had protested earlier for Pathaan hurting certain sentiments with the release of the song Besharam Rang from their film.
Shah Rukh Khan said that we are all characters on screen, but when we actors in real life are in love with each other. ‘We have fun with each other’ ‘We joke with each other’ ‘We are all one’ ‘ All of us are loving each other and trying to spread that love to you in a simple manner. He said there are ‘no differences between anybody of us’ ‘ no differences among our cultures and our aspect (way of life)’. ‘ We all love you, that’s why we make films’ ,he added. Pathaan has worked really well in the box office and is on its way to soon enter the 600 crore club (within 6 days of its release -global collections gross).
Shah Rukh thanked fans and the audience for supporting his film Pathaan and making it a success as well.
