Selfiee movie is a story of a superstar and a fan, A fan who wants to click a selfie with his superstar. One fine day a superstar has to meet his fan for some personal work because that fan is RTO officer. What happens afterwards and what is the story you need to watch the movie.
Emraan Hashmi has done excellent job in this movie. Akshay Kumar was quite natural thrroughout the movie. Only towards the end his performnace was something to be talked about, good. Nice story, unique concept of this film. This movie is a remake of a South film titled Driving License. Songs are okay of this film. Start there was a Punjabi song, many of the audiecne (Non-Punjabi audience) couldnt understand the lyrics.That could have been avoided. Some song with easy lyrics that audience could understand would have been appreciated.
Starting of the movie was little unbearable. But afterwards, story catches pace and then does a decent job. Story is quite a nice entertainer. Except few scenes where comedy elements didn’t match with the audeince. Comedy elements some scenes audeince couldnt relate much in the film.Some dialogues also look like Akshay Kumar is boasting ‘I am dong this much ads.. this much films, this mucch OTT movies’ such kind of dialogues could have been avoided. Quite a bunch of audience would not apppreciate that in a film.
Last song Main Khiladi song had that lyrics ‘Ladki dekhi ..baji haath se taali’ that line didn’t match with the story because for that line story needed a little ‘tharkiness’ that was not there in the story. So inorder to match the story, they could have changed the line. But they didn’t do it. They have taken audience for granted, I feel. A
kshay Kumar’s this film, you will see Emraan Hashmi character shining more with his performance. This was an honest revew of my experience regarding the film. I rate this film 2.5 stars out of 5.
