This week, we saw RRR movie, directed by director Rajamouli winning the Best International Film Award at the 50th Saturn Awards that took place in Los Angeles.
Rajamouli could’nt attend the award function in person. But he made his presence felt on the occasion through a video message, shared with the audience. Rajamouli is currently in Japan for RRR movie promotions. In the video, we can see Rajamouli saying that he is ‘super elated’ after the win.

Rajamouli’s earlier film Baahubali: The Conclusion had also won an award at the Saturn Awards. So this is the seond movie of Rajamouli for which he is receiving the Saturn Awards.
Rajamouli’s the RRR movie got nominated in two different categories. The first section under which RRR was nominated was for best film direction and the second criteria under which RRR was nominated include action/ adventure film category.
For the best International Film category, RRR won the Saturn award – Saturn Award 2022. RRR is a fictional story of two freedom fighters character played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. They play the lead role in the film. Film did well at the box office. RRR movie is having collecions of over 1000 crore over the globe. So now, with this win, RRR movie is going to stand in the race pushing itself for Oscars going to be taken place, next year.
