Rorschach is a psychological thriller film released in Malayalam. It stars actor Mammootty in the lead role. Movie is a simple revenge drama story presented in a unique experimental way. Screenplay narration is little slow in the film. Very many times, in the film, you might feel that these portions of the film are dragged. Could have been cut short. Yet the film is a good one time watch.
Mammootty acting performance in the second hald is really interesting. Climax of the movie is good. But could have been better. The slow narration in the first half of the film makes the second half of the story quite predictable. Movie duration is of 2 hour 30 minutes.
First half of the movie you will be completely clueless about the film, you will start getting to understand as things proceed to the interval and climax of the film.Some psychological elements, supernatural elelemts are also present in the film. Technical aspects of the film have been really well taken care of. Film Background score is nice, is successful enough to elevate the tension in the film also the sad scenes in the film.
CInematography of this movie is good. Lighting and the color tone of this movie really well taken care of that this film appears pleasing to the eye. Both of them taken care of seriously well that they are also able to speak about the situation in the film. Story should have got little bit fast narration. Sound is really good in the film.
Technical aspects, the film has fared really well. I am also not convinced with some scenes in the film. I wouldn’t discuss in detail about it otherwise it would be a spoiler. Vey few scenes of the film I felt not convincing to me. Every character has been given their due screentime in the film based on the story requirement. I had a good time watching this movie. I recommend you to watch this movie only if you have the patience to bear with the slow narration of the film. Mammootty actor performance is awesome. I rate this movie 3 stars out of 5.
