Rocketry the Nambi Effect film of RMadhavan released on 1 st of July, 2022 in five different languages, Hindi, Tamil, English, Telugu and Kannada. The film is based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan.
2800 screens worldwide released this film out of which 2000 were from India and 800 were from overseas approx.
Day 1 of the release collection was 2.23 crore worldwide in all languages. 1.73 crore came from India and 50 lakh collection came from overseas.
52 percent of Indias net collection came from Hindi language i.e. 90 lakh. Tamil version of the film collected 75 lakh (28.90 percent share of Indias net collection). Rest languages collected 33 Lakh (19 percent share of India’s collection)
You need to also note that Hindi collection on opening day was more than other languages. Maybe because Shah Rukh Khan acted in the film or maybe because of Madhavan. Hindi version of the film got more screens, that also may be the reason. Hindi occupancy of the film was overall 11 percent on Day 1. Morning shows started with 8 percent occupancy slowly slowly rose to 14-15 percent as it became little evening.
