Rishab Shetty today penned out a note on social media after receing the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the most promising actor for his performance in Kantara. He says in the note that he feels ‘honored to add feathers to this cap’. He cannot express his gratitude on receiving the prestigious Dadashaeb Phalke recognition.
He says he is grateful to Hombale Films and producer Vijay Kiragandur for trusting him and giving him the opportunity in Kantara. He says that he can’t wait to make more and better film films with them together. He feels that this achievment of Dadasaheb Phalke is not possible without the effort of the entire Kantara team and the technicians who worked behind the scenes.
He even calls out the pillar of his life, his Mrs, Pragathi Shetty for being the support system of his throughout the journey. He wants to dedicate the award to his Daiva Nartakaru, people of Karnataka.
