Rashtra Kavach Om Movie Review: Aditya Roy Kapur presented as an action hero, film has a lot of action, emotion and a patriotism flavour in it

Rashtra Kavach Om is a story of an officer given the responsibility of preparing defense system for the country. He gets kidnapped by some unknown people. Following which, his son joins the army and steps into the role played by his father. The story goes on and we come to know who is the traitor of the country.

Aditya Roy Kapur in his action avatar looks impressive. Sanjana Sanghi plays good supporting role to Aditya Roy Kapur in action. Story is like an any other old action film. Nothing new we can see in the film. Romance element is little less in the film. Jackie Shroffs role is limited in the film. Ashutosh Rana does a good  job. There is also emotional connect in the film. Distance in father son relationship is also shown in the film. Prakash Raj and Prachee Shah Pandya were good in their respective roles. Songs were okay in the picture.

Story is nothing new. Not a really good picture to be excited about. Picture is fine in terms of action. Aditya Roy Kapur is given a big role this time in the film. The story mostly revolves around him. We have not seen him earlier in such big roles so it is difficult  to digest him in this new larger than life role. I’m not very happy with the film. Would only rate 3 stars out of 5 for Rashtra Kavach Om.
