Ram Setu is a story of an archaelogist played by AKshay Kumar who is given a task before him to study the origin and existence of Ram Setu. Whether it was built by Lord Shree Ram or existed before only? This film tries to clear the doubts around the existence of Ram Setu bridge between India and Sri Lanka.

Film first half was intersting. We got to see under water view of Ram Setu structure and also the costume used for diving to study about the things underwater . Second half was also good. Some courtroom drama scenes and the portion after that are really powerful in the movie. Some moments are also there in the movie that arouse the religious sentiment among the audience.

Akshay Kumar performance was extraordnary. He tried to play his role really well. Jacquelne Fernandes role was okay. Nushratt Bharuccha role was nice. Nasser performance was okay. Satyadev Kancharana performance was fine. He had a very small role in the film. Movie screenplay story was well written but could been shown well with a little more conviction to appear more appealig to the audience. Story VFX and computer graphics could have been better. Cinematography was really good. Songs and music were not much contributive to the drama. Background score could have been even more effective. Action scenes could have been even more powerful. Dialogues were average. Very few impactful dialogues we could find in the movie.

Direction could have been even more better with more conviction to the way story was being presented. I had a great time watching the movie. I really appreciate the makers for bring a film like this to explore the truths and facts from our religion and history and presenting it in a form of a wonderful movie like this. More better the movie could have been made, but still this movie is a decent watch. I rate this movie 3 stars out of 5.
