Ram Kapoor says he didn’t feel any work pressure, stress or worry working for the character of his upcoming series Jubilee. He just had to bring the Punjabi character within him on screen, he says.
Ram Kapoor plays Shamsher Singh Walia character in Jubilee who is loud, bold, gives his opinions and doesn’t give a damn, Ram Kapoor says. That character, director Vikramaditya Motwane saw in Ram Kapoor, he says during an earlier shoot.
Vikramaditya Motwane and he have both worked for Udaan and it was nice to have each other’s company on another set, they both knew each other well, shared a good rapport, so Ram Kapoor was let loose, he says.
He was only given the direction and he had to bring that Punjabi side of his, he says and the shoot happend. That was efforless for him, he says.
Ram Kapoor says, while for the rest of the team, it was work, but for him, it was fun; he felt like he was having a blast.
