Tiku Weds Sheru trailer released on Wednesday. We could see in the trailer a love story as well as story of people trying to make career in the film industry.
Avneet Kaur is a newbie making her debut with the film. Producer Kangana Ranuat was asked why did she chose Avneet Kaur for the film.
She said that the film was originally written for her and Irrfan long back, but due to some circumstances the film couldn’t be done. Irrfan Khan is also no more. So the makers wanted to make the film.
Kangana thought now she didn’t have it in her the youthful charm and the young girl with huge ambitions look to make it appear on the screen. So she was in a look for a younger much more confident face to play her role.
Lot of efforts went behind this from looking out to actors from different places. Then someone sent Kangana Avneet’s Instagram profile and Kangana thought of doing some rehearsals and tests with the actor.
Kangana had thought she might have to work on Avneet for the emotional scenes, but when they were finally giving tests for the role and doing rehearsals, Kangana was moved by Avneet’s capacity to also portray emotional scenes well.
Kangana loved her spontaneity and cheerpiness in the first place and even though being talented at a such young age, Kangana thought Avneet deserves a break with this film.
Kangana says for this girl, Avneet, the future is bright, after this film, she might get much big challenging roles in films. Tiku weds Sheru releases on Amazon Prime this June 23rd. Watch the trailer below:
