Yami Gautam’s upcoming movie on Article 370 releases this week on the 23rd of February in cinemas.
Ahead of the release, Prime Minister Modi gave a huge shoutout to the film. Addressing rally in Jammu on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi said, He came to know that a film on Article 370 is being made. He said that he doesn’t know how is going to be the film. But he came to know about it by watching the TV.
He said that it is a good thing that film on Article 370 is being made, as it will help people get the correct information on the historic decision.

Yami Gautam came to know about it, and said that it is an absolute honour for her and rest of the cast to know Prime Minter Modi talking about their film. She said that she is happy to learn about it and she hopes that the film meets expectations in bringing the ‘incredible story’ to the screen.

Article 37 movie is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and is backed by Jyoti Deshpande and Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, Yami’s husband and brother in law. Article 370 movie is also starred by actress Priyamani and actor Arun Govil in title roles. Yami Gautam is playing an intelligence officer in the film.
Article 370 is a historic decision taken down by PM Modi government which granted special status to Jammu Kashmir region. The scrapping of Article 370 law made it possible for Jammu and Kashmir to be carved into two Union territories means now Jammu and Kashmir will have laws applicable as rest other Indian citizens.
