Steven Rogers as Captain America story came to a heartwarming end in Avengers: Endgame. Then it was revealed that Sam Wilson also known as Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie would be taking over the role of Captain America.
Marvel boss Kevin Frige made an annoncement that a fourth Captain America movie starring Anthony Mackie in the lead is in development stage. The film is titled Captain America: New World Order having Harrison Ford playing Thunderbolt Ross. This is after the death of actor William Hurt who used to play the character in earlier movies.
Rumours are now that Thunderbolt Ross would be playing the main antagonist in upcoming movie whereas multiple other Marvel villains are also set make surprise appearances.
Main conflict in the film would be around the Tiamut island which was first introduced in the Eternals, after which it was rveaed that the island might contain deposits of the fictional Adamantium metal. Ross and other villain would be stopping at nothing to get their hands on it.
Captain America: New World Order is going to release on 3rd of May 2024. This official confirmation is awaited.
