Makers of upcoming web series starring Natalie Portman ‘Lady in the Lake’ have decided to halt the production of their upcoming series temporarily.
The place where they were shooting currenty had to be vacated as local drug dealers started threatening the makers to shoot up the set unless they were paid USD 50,000.
There is also news that two men confronted and brandished a gun at one of their staff following which the decision to discontinue the shoot at that location was taken. No people were injured during the incident.
Makers have decided to shift the shoot to another location and reschedule their shooting dates. But the production will take place with more security this time.
‘Lady in the Lake’ webseries is going to be streamed on Apple TV+. Release date of the series is yet to be revealed.
