Producer Bhushan Kumar turned emotional at the Adipurush trailer launch, recalling his father who used to do films and songs on devotion. He is no longer alive. He passed away in 1997.
Bhushan Kumar said that when he receievd a call from director Om Raut after ‘Tanhaji’ that he wanted to do a film on Ramayan, he felt that it was his ‘father’s direction’ and felt the need to say ‘yes’ to it.
He said he is very happy with the outcome the way the film has turned out to be, that they are releasing in such a grand scale. He thanked audience and media for attending the trailer launch event and for the response to the trailer.
