Kantara dubbing artist Sachin Gole who gave his voice recently to Shiva character from Kantara spoke exclusively with FIlmifever today. He spoke about his film success, film dubbing journey and a lot more. Let’s look into what he has to say in the video provided below:
Sachin Gole has given voice to the popular Rocky Bhai character from KGF 1 and KGF2 and he has also given voice to the character of Shiva in the film Kantara played by none other than RIshab Shetty. Kantara film is doing really well in the worlwide box office having collections of more than 100 crores. Sachin Gole has given voice for the film and he says that his main challenge in the film was not to provide a vocie that was like his previous role of Rocky Bhai. He was handpicked by RIshab Shetty to give voice for the film but was told to give a more ‘gaav vala’ feel and ot a ‘don’ type feel while giving his dialogues. Because Rishab Shetty’s characters was that of a village person.
Sachin Gole’s earlier prominent dub was that of Rocky Bhai, a don type characcter. People already recognize Rocky Bhai’s voice but to give something unique in providing voice to Kantara was a challenge, Sachin Gole says. Sachin Gole also recalls having less days for dubbing as another challenge. In less than a weeks time, the entire film was dubbed and then he had to also give up his Sunday for the job. Sachin Gole also recalled having to spend an entire day for last few important minutes of the film dubbing. He says, there were breathing, reactions and a whole lot of emotions portrayed ain the ending 20 minutes of the film that is why he had to take a long time. That 20 minutes are also one of the most talked about moments of the film and highly apppreciated part of the film.
Sachin Gole also appreciates Rishab Shetty for his performance in the film specailly the ending part of the film. He says, no other actor could have performed such a kind of role. ‘RIshab Shetty’s performacne is mind-blowing’ He calls the content of the film as also the USP of the film, calling the content ‘hatke’ quite different than contemporary movies. ‘The movie having a spiritual connect, devotional connect even after having a simple story of a nature vs human conflict. Characters also having humble beginning s in the film.’
Sachin Gole thanks audiences for the recognition he is getting for his voice in the film. He says, he is striving every project with his characters to give out the best of him and aim to be the best possibe voice artist he can try to become. He says ne never gets ‘tired’ while working for his films. He is alswas ready to give any number of retakes to the voice dubbing he is doing. Jokingly he says, he has removed the word ‘kantaal’ from the very day he joined the dubbing profession.
