Madhuri Dixit Nene is also a producer now with her upcoming production titled Panchak in Marathi along with her husband Dr. Shriram Nene.
She was asked why specifically she chose to produce a Marathi movie over a Bollywood film.
To which she said that she is a Maharashtrian and she is quite fond of Marathi cinema. She feels Marathi cinema has a differnt take of telling stories and their concepts are quite diferent and unique according to her. She loves the differnt subjects portrayed by Marathi cinema. That is why she chose to produce a Marathi film.
Her upcoming production Panchak is also a different story according to her having a mix balance of superstition and faith. We have to wait for the release of the movie on the Janary 5th. Trailer launch took place on 12th December. Look at the trailer below:
