Kristen Stewart is likely to play the role of late Susan Sontag, a feminist writer and activist in an upcoming biopic film based on the latter titled ‘Sontag’. The film will be shooted this month onwards at the Berlin International Film Festival where Stewart heads the international jury this year.
Gabriella Tana, the producer of the film says, they’re using Berlin as a moment to kickstart the project because they want to do a documentary footage of Kristen as the head of the jury and talking about how she is going to play Sontag’
Makers say this film is a drama but with a documentary aspect attached to it and they believe that Kristen has a wonderful approach to storytelling.
They will shoot a documentary footage of Stewart preparing to portray Sontag woven into the film and that they will use it in the film.
The biopic shooting will take place in different locations like Berlin, California, Paris, New York and Sarajevo, this month onwards. Kirsten Johnson would be directing this biopic.
