Karthikeya 2 is a good Telugu mystery thriller film that stars actors Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher. Movie duration is 2 hour 30 minutes which could have been shortened little bit by cutting unnecessary comedy and little adventure scene in the movie. Story is nice. It is about a doctor coming to a village to solve some mystery. Story is continuation of Karthikeya 1.
Nikhil Siddharth’s character has maore role in the story. Nikhil Siddharth does a good job with his acting performace. Anupama Paramewaran also does good supporting actor. Anupam Kher’s role is also nice. Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswarn on screen chemistry looked nice specially when solving a mystery, inside the lab, their little fights, arguements etc, serious talks also were really good to watch.
Film first half is build up story. Second half is full of mystery and suspense. Movie climax will literally blow up your mind. Movie is such a good creation of visuals and after effects. Some scenes of Kashmir and Dwarka also shown in the movie. Those scenes were a visual treat and really beautiful to watch. Hindu religion also has connection with the story. Lord Krishna, Dwarka and all beautifully presented in the film, respecting Hindu religion.
Some scenes of logic are also shown in the movie. There’s one surprise element after interval of the film. Story start to end is engaging. It will not bore you. Characters have done good job in the movie, specially Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher specially with regards to theur expression and dialogue delivery. Their roles looked natural on screen. Anupam Kher should have been allowed to do his own Hindi dub on screen. Someone else has done his Hindi dub in the film. Movie is released in multiple languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Some illogical scenes you will also find in the movie. Some creative leaps are also there. Good suspense thriller film having connection with history, religion and mythology. I would surely recommend to everyone watch this movie. I am totally amused watching this film. I rate this movie 3.5 stars out of 5.
