Animal movie starring Ranbir Kapoor Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor worked well at the box office receiving mixed reactions from the audience. The film collected over 900 crore gross at the box office. The film was bashed by some sections of the audience while some sections of he audience celebrated the film for its different content.
Karan Johar, a well known film producer and director in Bollywood recently joined the tribe of those appreciating the film. He said in a recent rountable that according to him, Animal is the best film of 2023. It took a while to reach this judgment, because he feels he is in a position where he has to face the fear of judgement from industry peers and peope. He says he even like Kabir Singh movie of Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
He says he loved Animal because of its front foored conviction based narrative breaking stereotypes and called the film well crafted. He even praised the interval sequence and the climax of he film. He was also amazed by the fact of the wide acceptance of Animal movie and call the response ‘game changing’.
