Kangana Ranaut plays the role of then PM Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher plays the role of then opposition leader Jayprakash Narayan during Emergency. Shreyas Talpade plays role of a budding politician at that time Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Kangana Ranauts first look poster and video of Emergency got released earlier. Her appearance, speech and body language as PM Indira Gandhi was highly appreciated.
Anupam Khers first look appearance as Jayprakash Narayan was also released some time back and today the makers have released poster of Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Kangana Ranaut had said recently that she has begun shooting for the film. Dhaakad writer Ritesh Shah has written the film. More details about the film are yet to be awaited.
