Kangana Ranaut is going to be seen in another Tamil movie after Thalivii. This time it is Chandramukhi sequel in which she will be playing the titular role of Chandramukhi. Chandramukhi 1 came in 2005 that starred actors Rajnikanth and Jyotika Saravanan.
Chandramukhi 1 was not an original film. It was a remake of a Malayalam movie titled ‘Manichitrathazhu’ that was adapted in Hindi language also with the title ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
Chandramukhi 2 will see Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Chandramukhi- a reknowned dancer in a kings court, known for her dancing skills and breath taking beauty. She will be seen acting opposite actor Raghava Lawrence. To work on the costume of the actors, National award winning costume designer Neeta Lulla has been bought onboard for working on the film.
Kangana Ranut will be shooting the first schedule of the film in the first week of December. Leading production house Lyca Films is going to produce this movie. It is not confirmed yet. Official confirmation is awaited.
