After a long gap, actress Jyotika is soon going to make a comeback to Hindi cinema. She is going to star in an upcoming biopic project titled Sri based on the life of Srikant Bolla, a visually impaired industrialist, who happens to be also the co-founder of Bollant Industries. Rajkumar Rao also stars in the film along with Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar.
Film pooja ceremony was held recently and the shooting is expected to begin soon. The film is written by Sumit Purohit and Jagdeep Sidhu, going to be directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Sri is going to be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Shiv Chanana, and Nidhi Parmar under the banner of T-Series and Cheese and Chalk FIlms. Jyotika recently completed shooting for her Malayalam film Kaathal. She made her acting debut to Hindi cinema in 1998 film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna directed by Priyadarshan, following which she made a way for herself in South Indian films, with a prolific acting career.
