James Cameron in a recent media interaction has claimed that his Terminator reboot is currently ‘in discussion’. He has expressed his desire to revisit the popular sci-fi franchise that he had created.
The franchise started with Terminator starrng Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role, that first film came in the year 1987. It became famous for its groundbreaking VFX and futuristic themes. After that the franchisee expanded into five more sequels and television series.
Talking about the idea of reboot, James Cameron said that things are in discussion mode but nothing has been decided. If he were to make a reboot or launch the franchise again, he would focus more on the AI (artificial intelligence) technology. He has no plans to show about the robots going crazy in the movie.
James’ Cameron sequel of 2009 Avatar got released recently, crossed collections of $500 million at the worldwide box office.
