I used to never go gaav for 5 years at a stretch to avoid people’s questions: Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Tiku weds Sheru actor Nawazudddin Siddiqui remembered his struggling days in Bollywood when he was finding it difficult to get roles. He says, that whenever he used to go to his village, family used to ask him, you are in Mumbai, has something happened with your acting career? He didn’t have answers to them at that time. Sometimes, he has taken 5 years break not going to his village in order to avoid people’s questions.

Family questions were difficult to handle at times, so ‘sometimes I have not gone gaav for 5 long years’, reveals the actor. Those were the struggling days. Tiku weds Sheru is also a story of struggling actors, who have their dreams big want to make big in the entertainment industry.

Recalling his personal life story, he said there are certain similarities between him and Sheru’s character. Sheru also when he went to Bhopal, his village, people used to ask questions about his acting career. Sheru was a struggling actor in the film. Tiku weds Sheru releases on June 23’rd on Amazon Prime, this year.

At the trailer launch event, Nawazuddin Siddiqui also revealed that when he went back to his village, he also had to face questions like, do the kissing scenes happen real or is it artificial fake?
