Hrithik Roshan today hosted the event of upcoming Amazon Prime Video show The Rings of Power directed by J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay. During the event he shared some light on his inspiration from The Lord of Rings trilogy.
Hrithik Roshan said, his father Rakesh Roshan one fine day in 2004, watched The Lord of the Rings film series by Peter Jackson. He really loved watching the movie. He kept watching it one after the other. He was inspired by the idea of The Lord of RIngs and how they had turned it into a film seies. He liked the progression in the story and asked Hrithik Roshan ‘Why can’t we also not turn our Koi mil gaya story into a film series?’ And that’s when the idea of Krrish was born.
Krrish came out in the year 2006. Krrish 3 came out in the year 2013. Krrish 4 is also in the works. More details about the film are awaited.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power new series on Amazon Prime Video releases on September 2, 2022 in multiple Indian languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and also in English. The series is based on the writings of author J. R. R. Tolkien and his fantasy story on history of Middle Earth. The series is of eight episodes. First two episodes are releasing in India on September 2 at 6.30 pm IST. Rest of the episodes will be released on a a weekly basis every Friday at 9.30 am IST on Amazon Prime Video.
