Adipurush poster and teaser is going to be launched officially on the 2nd of October at the Ram Janmabhoomi place – Ayodhya. Adipurush is going to be a biggest film of 2023 because it has a huge budget of 500 crore. 100 crore is the fees of actor Prabhas for the film. Other 400 crores have been invested in other star cast fees and making of the film.
Adipurush is going to be around a 3 hour movie duration film in which we will come to know the meaning behind the film name Adipurush. Bhagwan Ram is called Adipurush. Why he is called Adipursh? we will get to know watching the film. Bhagwan Ram character is played by lead actor Prabhas in the film.
Film will be based on the Aranya Kand to the Yuddh Kand chapters of Ramayana. Ramayana as you know has 7 chapters out of which, 6 are official, 1 unnofficial. Aranya Kand is the chapter with which the film will start. Aranyakand is third chapter of Ramayana in which Ram, Sita and Laxman live in vanvas and Sita Mata gets kidnapped. According to our sources, Ramayana first chapter Bala Kand and second chapter Ayodhya kand won’t be highlighted in the film. They might be shown through a voiceover or a montage or an animation portion. Kishkindha Kand, Sundara Kand and Yuddha Kand will also have place in the film.
As you know, Kishkindha Kand is a story of Ram, Laxman meeting Hanuman, Sugriva; and Bali gets killed.Sundara Kand is a story of Hanuman meeting Sita Mata in Lanka and Lanka gets burnt. Yuddha Kand is the story of the battle between Rama and Ravana. There is also Agni Kand that comes inside Yudh Kand in which we see Sita going through the process of agni pariksha. Lord Ram took her agnipariksha. Why did he take agniparikasha? that is what’s going to be explained in the film. Modern generation of today’s time criticize the agnipariksha taken by Lord Ram of Sita Mata. Through this movie, the makers will be trying to provide us the reasons and actual clarity about why did Lord Ram have to take agni pariksha of Mata Sita. Filmmakers will also clear the air on why Lord Ram is called Adipurush. AdiPurush meaning in english is ‘the superior man’ ‘the first man’.
Lord Rama’s character name in the film will be Raghav, the other name of Lord Ram. Sita Mata’s character name in the film will be Jhanki which will be played by actress Kriti Sanon. Laxman character name is expected to be Sesh in the film (going to be played by Sunny Singh). Laxman is called Sesh in the film because Lord Laxman is an avatar of Sesh Naag on whom Lord Vishnu rests. Hanuman name in the film could be Maruti but this is not confirmed by our sources. The actor playing that role is also not revealed to us. Bharat, Shatrughan characters will not find place in the film.Raavan character in the film name could be Lankesh and that is going to be played by Saif Ali Khan.
Movie is going to be released in 3 formats, 2D, 3D and IMAX. Post production, VFX work of the film is still going on currently. Few days ago, a fan made concept art of the film became viral on the internet. In that also we could see some portions of Kishkindha Kand chapter in it. Sugriva could be seen, also Lord Shree Ram character played by Prabhas. Adipurush film craze is getting bigger and bigger each day, specially among fans on the internet. Many artists are creating different versions of the film poster on the internet. There is too much buzz surrounding the film. Our hearts are also excited for the teaser and poster to be released next week. We are simply finding it difficult to hold our breath.
