Gumraah movie review: Nice remake film, good acting by the cast

Gumraah is a murder mystery film, remake of the Tamil film Thadam. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur along with Ronit Roy are the main actor of the film.

Nice acting by the cast; Aditya Roy Kapur’s performance was impressive. I really liked it. Even Ronit Roy as a police officer, his performance was good. Mrunal Thakur playing an important role in the film, shined in her role. I loved the acting of all the actors in the film.

First half of the film was a story build up. Some moments can make you bored. But as the story moves forward you start developing interest and get engrossed in the murder mystery story of the film.

There is a lookalike (double role) angle also in the story. What it is is? in order to understand, you need to watch the film. I had a nice expereince watching the movie.

One disco song was there, that was little Punjabi type. Hindi film so Hindi song would have been preferred than I would have appreciated more.

I liked the love angle also in this film. Action scenes are also good. VFX in some portion of the action scenes could have been better.

I had a nice expereince watching this film. I rate Gumraah 3 stars out of 5. Those who haven’t watched the original film, will like watching this film.
