Good Luck Jerry is a story of a girl named Jerry who goes into a wrong track to earn fast money. She has also her majboori, her mother is struggling with lung cancer and she needs money for her mother’s treatment.
Story seems a little stretched in the movie. The movie could have ended up little early. 2 hour 28 minute duration of the movie seemed long because there was no weight in the story and screenplay of the movie. Story and screenplay was average, nothing extraordinary.
Jahnvi Kapoor in the role of Jerry has done quite a decent job. Deepak Dobriyal in the character of Rinku has given an excellent performance. He deserved more screentime in the film. He was the true entertainer in the film. He made us laugh quite many times in the film. Mita Vashisht playing role of mother has also given good supporting performance.
This film is not a boring movie. Only thing is that the film seemed a little slow towards the end. Dialogues are good in the movie. They are nicely written and some of them will even make you laugh. Songs are average in the movie. Cinematography is decent. Background music is good, could have been better. Action scenes are okay in the film. Quite an average film. Direction is okay. I rate this film 2 stars out of 5.
