G5A Cinema House in Mumbai creates an exhibition of Irrfan Khan’s work to honour his legacy

Irrfan Khan, a famous actor known for his works like Paan Singh Tomar and Qarib Qarib Single, Karwaan etc, who passed away in the year 2020 after battling cancer for a couple of years. G5A Cinema House in Mumbai has come forward to put an exhibition of Irrfan Khan’s work to showcase his legacy and pay him tribute.

Over three days from January 26th to January 28th, the exhibition will be held at G5A warehouse in Mumbai. It will show some of Irrfans memorable films including classics like The Lunchbox, Paan Singh Tomar and the Mira Nair’s The Namesake. Additionally, the audiences favorite’s like the Piku, Qarib Qarib Single and Talvar will also be exhibited. They have titled their event as Irrfan (1967-2020): A retrospective.

Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar is also aware of this initiative and she is happy that she has been approached for this initiative and hopes to relive the memories and some of Irrfan’s noteworthy work with this initiative.
