Film Trade Expert Taran Adarsh has put out his opinion on Prabhas upcoming film Adipurush. It is based on Hindu religion epic Ramayana. Taran Adarsh believes, people across the world are looking at the film eagerly and have lots of high hopes around the film because the film is based on Ramayana.
Lot of people’s religious beliefs are connected with this film. People will flock to theatres to watch the film. Lot of money, huge investment is made on the film. Prabhas actor and the film has to prove itself, Taran Adarsh says.
Prabhas’s last film Saaho was an okay performance, weak writing. Radhe Shyam film was a disaster at the box office. Now it is pressure on Prabhas to prove himself, not only with his acting skills but also manage to do well in the box office in terms of numbers. Film is in a do or die situation.
Adipurush film has to prove themself. He says the teaser received negative feedback from the audience but then the film team went on a course correction, damage control mode and witht he 3D release of the teaser, people were satisfied with the course correction done with the teaser.
All hopes are now on the film releasing this June 16. Trailer is also yet to come.
