Double XL is a movie about overweight people facing problems in their life because of their obesity. How do they fight their problems in life and achieve their dreams. That is what you get to know watching the movie. This movie is a movie with a good message. But the film is not executed properly.
Some stereotypes are there in this film. Why only women are shown in overweight characters in this movie? Why only focus on obesity around marriage and finding a partner. Obesity could have also been shown around health issues and all. This movie also has been given a feminism angle. There is a little overacting the characters of this movie specially Sonakshi SInhas character and another character of Zoravar in this movie.
Some dialogues and scenes are also there in this movie which you might feel awkard to watch it with family. This movie is not a ‘to-be-recomended’ film. This movie is a timepass film. I had an average experience watching the movie. This movie actors have given an okay performance. I rate this movie only 2 stars out of 5. Because this film could could have been a better presenatation on the topic. Though choice of the topic is good.
