Darlings movie on Netfix is about domestic violence. Movie is a dark comedy film but comedy element little less we can see in the movie. Movie stars Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma and Shefali Singh in prominent roles.
Alia Bhatt performance in the film is superb. Her emotions, expressions and reactions in different situations were really good to watch in this film. Some of the scenes she looked quite natural. Vijay Varma performance was also good. Shefali SIngh performance was really praiseworthy. She played Alia Bhatt mother role in the movie. Roshan Matthew who plays a small role in the film also does a good job.
Good way the story has been presented. But the engagement with the audience is little less in the movie. Second half of the movie was completely illogical. They were doing anything and everything in second half of the film.
Climax was also not much impactful. This movie failed to provide the message that they inteded to give through the movie. Music and songs were nice in the movie. Theme of the story was good. Different action elements you can see in the movie. One kiss scene is also there in the movie. No bad words used in the film. This is good thing about the film. Overall, an average film to watch, I rate this movie 2 stars out of 5.
