Daman is a biographical drama story based oon a young doctor who just completes his medicine studies and is posted to a remote village where people are disconnected from basic ammenities. Difficult way of living, people are suffering from malaria in that area. How he uses his knowledge to make the area malaria free and what inspiration figure he becomes to the people of that area-that story we get to see in this film.
This movie is done with a minimal budget of 1 crore yet this film doesnt look like that. Story concept is something new. The saviour story we see in this movie. Not a larger than life film but a biography story of a doctor. The acting performace of the actors and the drama incidents created in this film look real. Actors clothing and makeup is kept ordinary and thus they look very real in the film. Music is nice of this film. Cinematography is good. Editing is nice.
Some scenes look repetive that is why they are little irritating when watching them on screen. Editing could have bee more shaper. Story has a mix of emotions, happy moments, sad moments as well as some moments where you will feel inspitred. This movie will serve as a motivation to our Gen-zie (next generation) doctors of India. I had a great time watching this movie. This movie is in Odia language. I recommend you to watch this film. I rate this film 3.5 stars out of 5.
