Comedian Raju Srivastava passes away at 58

Comedian Raju Srivastava who was admitted to the hospital last month after complaining of chest pain while running on treadmill breathed his last today at 10.20 am. He had undergone angioplasty operation the day of his admisson and was in the hospital for over 40+ days. His health condition deteriorated following which he was put on life suffort for a couple of days. His healh condition had improved in the between and then afterwards, again he had to be put on ventillator support as his fever crossed 100 degrees. Raju Srivastava is now survived by his wife and two children.

Raju Srivastav becomwe popular as a comedian after participating in the first season of ‘The Great India Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. He was also part of films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya’, ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ among others. Raju Srivastav was also part of political party Bhartiya Janta Party.

Raju Srivastava breathed his last today at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
