Reports say the film has kicked off a budget as $205 million. The film was shot during the pandedmic making the budget even more expensive with the film visual effects.
VFX shots were used massively in first film also to show the Atlantians, sea creatures and underwater battles. The film is directede by James Wan and will be the last film in the DC Extended Universe.
James had said in recent time that the film will deal with the subject of maybe climate change along with the film being rich on fantasy and action.
The film is set to hit the theatres on December 20 and will star Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison and Nicole Kidman also in important roles.
