An Action Hero is a story of a star who gets into a fight with one of his admirer because he refuses to pose for a photo with him due to his hectic schedule. That fight turns into a push and that fan falls down to the ground with head injuries leading to his death. That death was an accident. But the fan brother a big politicican thinks it is done purposely, runs after the star to seek revenge for his brothers death. Will the star be able to survive from the hands of the powerful person? You will get to know watching the movie.
Story narration and direction is quite engagng and interesting. Will keep you connected or hooked throughout the film. But some moments are there in the film where you will feel the film is a little stretched. That could have been avoided. FIlm acting performance is nice by the cast specially Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat. FIlm female lead actress is not there. There is no romance angle in the film. This is one of the drawback of the film.
Ayushman Khurrana we have seen earlier playing victim role. This time he is playing a fighter role little difficult to digest. Film cinematograhy is really good. Action scenes and stunts well perfromed by the actor gives us thrill moments. FIlm editing is sharp and crisp. FIlm music is avergage when talking about the original music. Remake songs are there in the film and they are good. Guest appearance by Akshay Kumar is sweet brings smile on our faces. Special appearance of Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi in the dance numbers is also magic. Good movie overall. Didnt expect much from the film. Yet the film could have performed much better. I rate this film 3 stars out of 5.
