Akshay Kumar today started the first schedule of his shoot for upcoming film in Marathi and other languages ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daulate Saat’. In the film, AKshay Kumar is going to play the role of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. See his look from the film here:
Today morning while begining preparations for his shooting of the film, Akshay Kumar posted this photo on social media of him standing in front of Shivaji photo with hands joined and eyes closed. Captioning it as ‘Playing Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahraji role in a film is an honor’ for him. He said further in his caption that he will take inspiration from Shivaji Maharaj life and take Maa Jeejau blessings and make full efforts to play Shivaji’s role nicely on screen. He also asked fans to continue keeping their blessings on him.

This film is going to be released next year Diwali. Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke and others are also going to be part of this film. This film in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi are confirmed so far. Vaseem Quereshi is the producer of this film. Mahesh Manjrekar is directing the film.
