Jai Shree Ram. People were very much excited for the movie on Ramayan and Lord Shree Ram. Big budget, VFX, 3D, promotion and all these things, looking at it, people had much hopes from the movie. Also the star cast like Prabhas, people had huge expectations from the movie. People came to the theatres also to watch the movie. But what to say now, the connection which people have with Ramayan and Lord Shree Ram, cannot be maintained very much in the movie.
Some dialogues are written in an ordinary lay man language which are not suitable for a movie on Gods. People’s devotion as a matter needs to be respected. Some scenes, VFX is also not proper. Prabhas has done good acting but we cannot find Lord Shree Ram’s character in him. We can find a little bit remembrance of Baahubali when we watch Prabhas on screen.
Some dialogues he has delivered really well. His looks and body are very much suited for Bhagwan Ram character. But in some scenes, costume and appearance needed to be worked on, to very much suit the character. Saif Ali Khan as Raavan also his looks need to have been paid attention to.
He is also not looking like Raavan. He has delivered his performance like a villain, whatever dialogues given to him, but we cannot find the character of Raavan in him. Songs are good in the film. Some scenes BGM is also good. Kriti Sanon as Sita Mata in some scenes she has given nice performance.
But I would say, she also need to be worked on for the role. Adipurush as a Ramayan movie, I would not recommend to the audience. I would still recommed the original one by Ramanand Sagar. So pure and divine.
But still, we need to go ahead and watch this movie, so that makers morale is not let down. At least they have taken the initiative to make a movie on Ramayana.
We need to support such kind of films because they are a story of our culture, our religion, our heritage. I would not rate this movie. You can watch this movie to support films on our epic mythology and religion.
