Abhishek Bachchan remembered his 2007 film Guru on Friday as it completed 17 years. He took to his social media to share few glimpses of the film. He shared with the audiences pics of the iconic roles and scenes from the film.
He shared with us stills of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in the character. He also shared a line in the video towards the end which said, Guru is and will forever stay close to his heart. Abhishek Bachchan’s father Amitabh Bachchan also commented on the post and said ‘The best ever.. immaculate and unbeatable’

The film was directed by Mani Ratnam. It also starred Mithun Chakraborty, R Madhavan and Vidya Balan. It was said that the film is a biopic of business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani. But the makers said that it is not true. The maker director Mani Ratnam said this film is a work of fiction.
The film earned over 80 crores at the box office. It was also well received by critics.
