The Election Commission of India this time has roped in popular youth actor Ayushman Khuranna as its face to promote voting among young citizens.
Election Commission on its social media has shared a video in which we see Ayushmann Khurrana, actor making appeal to the voters of India to go out and cast their votes and participate in nation building.
He asked people to stop giving bahanas and go out and be ready to vote. He said Lok Sabha Elections are like a festival, which we all should celebrate by casting our precious votes. Look at the video below:
This Youth Icon honour by Election Commission comes in the backdrop of Ayushmann’s popularity among the young population and his presence in films that have aimed to remove taboos from society.
Before this, even Rajkumar Rao was picked by the Election Commission as a National Youth Icon to promote Voting.
