Shaitaan movie is a story of supernatural forces, hypnotism etc. I wont reveal the story. Goo watch it in theatres. It is a good watch. But sad to know it is a remake film. Shaitaan is a remake of Gujarati film Vash and honestly speaking, I feel Vash is better than Shaitaan.
Shaitaan movie looked little dramatic but the connect was missing. You would connect more with the original movie. Also, very few changes are seen in Shaitaan movie. Makers have cut copy paste the same story of Vash in Shaitaan. They have hardly made any changes to the script or storytelling of this movie.
Only in the climax, few things were changed. This made me disappointed. Where is the creative output of the makers? We needed to see something different when we were watching Shaitaan movie. Because we have watched the original film Vash.
Those who have watched the original film Vash will get a little disappointed because they have got the same story. Those who haven’t watched Vash will find this film interesting and good paisa vasool.
I personally didn’t feel the content in Shaitaan relatable. But I appreciate the makers for bringing two big stars like Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan together. It was a treat to watch them on screen together. Also glad to see Jyothika back after long time. Janki Bodiwala was impressive. I rate Shaitaan 3 stars out of 5. It is a good film if you haven’t watched the original. What made me like SHiataan is the BGM of this movie. That made the content a good decent watch.
But my expectations weren’t met in Shaitaan movie. I still recommend you to watch the original movie Vash. It was way better.
