Sara Ali Khan upcoming patriotic film Ae Watan Mere Watan trailer is out and in the trailer we see a story of young girl staring a radio station to spread information and messages, debunk fake news spread by the British. This was during the British Raj, Quit India movement where there was an increasing sentiment growing against the British.
Sara Ali Khan plays the character of Usha Mehta, founder of Secret Congress Radio, during the British time, impressively in the trailer. This films seems to be inspired by the story of Usha Mehta who started the radio during the Quit India Movement of 1942.
Special guest appearance of Emraan Hashmi is expected in the film. Sparsh Srivastava, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O’ Nell and Anand Tiwari star in pivotal roles in the film. The film, premeirers on Prime Video March 21. Watch the trailer below:
