Akshay Kumar took to his social media to announce his upcoming film Sarfira which is the Hindi remake of Tamil successful film Soorarai Pottru (2020), which starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal in the lead.
Sarfira stars actors Radhika Madhan, Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas in important roles along with Akshay Kumar. Sarfira is being directed by Sudha Kongara, National award winning director.
Soorarai Pottru was directed by Sudha. It had won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay in 2020.

Sarfira film is produced by Aruna Bhattia, Suriya, Jyothika and Vikram Malhotra. Sarfira releases in cinemas on the July 12th.
